A two semester group project where we (UCF's FIEA students) joined together to develop a polished game going through all stages of game development.

Drain Runner is a third person action roguelike in which the player is placed into an ever-changing sewer system, equipped with a magnetic arm and scrap-gun. Using these tools, the player is tasked to survive as long as they can. During each “run” of the game, entire sections of the map periodically are replaced with new sections, presenting the player with new challenges, loot, and gameplay possibilities. Using their magnet arm and gun, the player must traverse and fight their way around the sewer system, fighting to stay alive and avoid drowning beneath the waves of sludge.

An experimental VR Empathy game where the narrative is based on the Russian fairytale: “Fox and the Crane”.

The game aims to help children to learn to look at others’ feelings and situations from another's perspective. This invites them to play through both the Fox's and Crane's side of the story in order to resolve a misunderstanding between them perspective on the conflict had with each other. The player is asked to offer the solution for the unfolding conflict situation. Once a solution has been made, the board is flipped!
